this is tots. he's my boyfriend. he's very easy to talk to. we almost never argue, because whenever we sense that our insights will clash, we instinctively turn our conversation into a playful banter. so yeah, i can say that he's somewhat an escapist. makes our relationship fun. we laugh a lot and we try to talk to each other on the phone before going to sleep.
eventhough he lives outside Metro Manila, we don't have problems seeing each other. i think we're a great pair because we both like fun and spontaneity. we don't ever want to fight because we try to avoid drama --- i'm clueless when it comes to confrontations and he simply thinks relationship drama sucks. i don't know if that's a good thing or not. but i'm happy with the way things are and i hope he is.
sometimes i think that this relationship lacks depth. but are we really looking for that? my idea of a perfect relationship is three things: love, honesty and fun. plus two other things to back them up: time and effort. so far those elements are present in our relationship. oks na oks!
we're both having fun. for me, that's the whole point of entering a relationship. we don't have a lot in common but miraculously this thing that we have actually works. because we are able to make fun of our differences:
>he teases me about my makeup and i tease him about his being skinny.
>i go around the city riding buses and jeepneys; he gets really tired of life riding the MRT.
>his passion is cars and i know comedy like the back of my hand.
>he likes house music and frequents bars; i am the queen of videoke joints and i live for rock.
well, we a few things in common: we both smoke marlboro lights, we both love to make fun of people, and we live for nothing but fun.
