Two Evil Girls

I love scary movies. It seems to me that children are the new face of horror films these days. The Exorcist and The Oman raked millions of dollars back in the days, and I loved them both, which is why it's not hard to understand why kids are back on the big screen to give us grown-ups goosebumps.
I recently watched Case 39 and Orphan with Fifi, and I am now freaked out at the prospect of interacting with bright young girls who wear shabby Sunday dresses and have an IQ they could not have acquired in the environment where they were raised. Not that there are many here in Dubai. Not that there are any here in Dubai.
In Case 39, the child turned out to be the devil, and she can kill people just by having bad thoughts about them.
In Orphan, the adopted girl is actually a dwarf with a mental disability that causes her to kill her adoptive father if he does not reciprocate her romantic intentions for him.
Both girls are utterly convincingly disgusting.
They weakened my spine and made me want to watch The Office episodes to forget.
And though I did not entirely erase the image of Lilith and Esther from my head, Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute did help.
